Anyone of any age or physical condition can do yoga. You don’t have to be able to touch your toes, run a marathon, or do a perfect plank to actively get in touch with your body, learn to calm and focus your mind, and enjoy the benefits. You will leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and calm.
Refocus and rebalance yourself in my beautiful, serene yoga studio in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Many of my students are long term regulars, and we always welcome new people with open arms.

Yoga, which combines both meditative and physically active elements, is an ancient Vedic philosophical practice, which originated in India over 2500 years ago. Yoga practice is relevant to contemporary practitioners today as a means to strengthen and balance the flow of energy within your physical body, increase your vitality, and experience greater mental clarity and peace of mind.

“My husband and I have been going to Earth Sky Yoga for four years twice weekly and would highly recommend Mischa. The small classes are wonderful and offer personal attention. Mischa has highly intuitive knowledge of the human body and is especially talented at understanding what type of yoga poses the individual would find most beneficial according to their lifestyle and needs. We leave each class feeling strong, relaxed and peaceful.”

Small group Men’s Yoga class
Mondays at 6pm, in Vaucluse
Lycra leggings definitely not required! My men's class has been consistently booked out in the 17 years since my studio opened, which speaks to the real need for a class like this.
This weekly small group class offers gentle movements to restore flexibility and build the physical strength required for everyday activities. There is a focus on building balance and quieting the mind through conscious awareness of the breath. Nothing in this class is 'exclusive' to men, but my male clients tell me they feel more comfortable in this class than they would as a sole male practicing in a class full of women.

This especially calm class is for those individuals who are beginning their yoga practice or recovering from illness or injury. These students benefit from learning how to pay attention to internal bodily sensations (interoception), along with being able to accurately sense their body, relative to movement in space (proprioception).
Each class offers a breath-based practice, which includes physical movements exploring balance, mental focus, and strength, inviting an inner connection with your unique present moment experience. This class is 15 minutes longer than other classes, to allow time for Pranayama and meditation after our physical asana practice.
